Cruz loved spending time with his little cousin. So much so, that he always wanted to be in whatever room Conrad was in whenever we were at my sister's place. Conrad, like most babies his age, spent the majority of his time sleeping or eating. Cruz was always pleading for him to "cockadoodle doo" and wake up. For days after we returned, Cruz would repeatedly ask to Skype specifically to see Conrad.
Sue and I were quite delighted with how Cruz took to having a baby. He didn't seem to mind when we held Conrad. And he certainly loved being near him.
We find all this encouraging because of the fact that Sue is pregnant!
For those that didn't know, Cruz is expecting a little sister in early January. In fact, today Sue is 28 and 1/7th weeks along.
Mom is handling pregnancy with grace, and we're eagerly looking forward to the new addition to our family.
