The Left Coast
Sometimes Chicago is described as being on "The Left Coast" since it's on the lefthand side of Lake Michigan. On a recent trip to Chicago, Sue and I decided to stop by the 63rd Street Beach and properly show him "The Left Coast."
Cruz played in the sand and even dipped his toes into the lake (something, again, he has yet to do with the Pacific). There was also a playground right in the sand so Cruz got to play a bit there before we left.
