Hawaii Vacation

Astute readers will recall that the past few years we've been taking a vacation every March. Well this year we went on a traveling extravaganza and went to both Maui and Deer Valley, about two weeks apart. Yep, we went to sun and then snow in relatively short succession.

Cruz' school had a winter break the second week of February, so we decided to take a short trip to ere Maui with the kids. Sue had never been and I went about a quarter of a century ago.

The trip, while short, was a success.  Another family from Cruz' school was in Maui at the same time, so we spent two of our three full days with them, close to where they were staying.

The other day we stayed at our resort.

Overall, it was a great trip. The Cruz got to enjoy the beach and the pool, Whitney got to enjoy plenty of ice cream, Sue got to enjoy the sun, and I enjoyed the rest and relaxation that such a trip brings.
