Cruz' personality can best be described as "goofy." In contrast, Whitney's can be described as quite endearing. To put it another way, the world is there for Cruz' entertainment. Whitney's aim is to entertain the world.
So here I submit her not-so-latest thing is to place her lovey on her head. It likely started as "peek-a-boo." But now she likes to walk increasingly further distances with it covering her eyes.
