Lolo and Lola Come for a Visit

We live in a wonderful time where thanks to technology, we can not only talk to loved ones easily, but video chat with them as well.  Every Saturday we have our weekly Skype session with my parents.  Cruz and Whitney certainly love these moments with Lolo and Lola.  But of course there's nothing like actually being with them.

Realizing that it had been several months since my parents last saw Whitney and Cruz, and with several big trips of theirs looming in the future, my parents decided to come pay us a visit.  To say that Cruz was excited would be an understatement, and while Whitney at first was a little shy, she quickly warmed up to them.

I had to work this weekend, so my parents also were able to help Sue with the kids.  They had a fun filled time including trips Happy Hollow and the Children's Discovery Museum, as well as seeing the kids in swim class.

I also got to indulge in some comfort food, with my mom cooking for me once again.  Cruz and Whitney loved their Lola's cooking too, eating with such gusto.
