Trick or Treat, 2012 Edition

First off, sorry for (again) for the lack of posts.  I really don't have an excuse.  But to help make it up to you I'm including ultra-cute pics of the kiddies this Halloween.

Inspired by a party favor that Cruz got (the wrist and head bands), we decided to pick a timely costume and dress him as an Olympian.

We took a Puma track suit, sewed USA to the front (to cover the Puma logo) and then the Olympic rings on the back.  We found an old Little Gym medal and put it around his neck.  Unlike prior costumes, we plan on "disassembling" this one so that he can use it as regular clothes.  I mean, every 3 year-old deserves a styling track suit, right?

With Cruz running around as an Olympic athelete, Whitney, therefore, was to be the Olympic Torch.

We were a little worried that she'd want to take the hat off, but she was pleasantly happy keeping it on.  Maybe the flames were keeping her head warm?

We went around briefly in our new neighborhood.  Cruz loved it.  Of course, now begins the negotiations for what to do with the candy...
