A Weekend of Firsts

Cruz just completed an eventful weekend. First, on Friday he started to roll over and staying true to his name, he did it with some panache. Not only did Cruz learn to successfully flip from his back to his front, but also to go back to his original starting position and roll over from front to back. I guess he didn't want to do one until he could do the other.

Later in the weekend, Sue decided to take Cruz to the ocean for the first time. We live so close, but for one reason or another we never took him there. Cruz was fascinated by the waves rolling in. He kept staring at them, deep in thought.


This picture also highlights how absurdly long his eyelashes are.

Lastly, we decided to take the plunge and start feeding Cruz solids. We're not too sure what he thinks of this new development. Watch the clip and see for yourself.

Overall, this was a fun and exciting weekend for Cruz and his parents!
